New energy products are widely and deeply used abroad, involving solar energy, wind energy, electric vehicles and other fields. The following are some specific applications:
Solar energy field: Chinese new energy companies play an important role in the European solar energy market. At the 2025 European International Solar Exhibition, about 850 Chinese companies participated in the exhibition, and the exhibits included high-efficiency photovoltaic modules, energy storage equipment, etc. About 85% of the solar panels on the Portuguese market are made in China. The CEO of the Portuguese Renewable Energy Association said that Portugal's goal of solar energy installed capacity in 2030 depends largely on China's professional technology.
Wind energy field: Envision Energy's EN-171/6.5MW smart wind turbine is used in the Amunet 500MW wind power project in Egypt, Africa. The project is the largest single-unit capacity and the largest total installed capacity wind power project in Africa. After the project is fully completed, the annual power generation is expected to reach about 2.3 million kWh, which can meet the electricity needs of 800,000 households and is expected to reduce 1 million tons of carbon dioxide emissions.
Electric vehicle field: SAIC Maxus's pure electric logistics vehicle eDELIVER3 (EV30) has become the Chinese brand with the largest purchase volume in DHL Europe. On July 15, 2025, the first batch of 300 EV30s were shipped from Shanghai to Europe. DHL plans to increase the utilization rate of new energy vehicles in the "last mile" logistics distribution to more than 66% by 2030, and the EV30 purchased this time will be an important part of this strategy.
New energy bus field: Yutong Bus has exported more than 110,000 vehicles in total, covering more than 100 countries and regions in the Americas, Africa, Asia, Europe, etc. On July 4, 2025, Yutong's new generation of pure electric intercity bus IC12E successfully crossed Germany, Denmark, Sweden, and Norway, completing the world's first long-distance full-road test of pure electric intercity buses. In Kazakhstan, 7,700 Yutong buses travel between cities and towns every day. The battery insulation system developed for extremely cold climates allows the vehicles to start normally at -40℃.
